Alessandra was born and raised in Milan, Italy, where she met her husband, who is also Italian. Together they decided to make the big move and relocated to Boise in 2014. Since a young age, she has always had a love for languages and traveling. She graduated with a degree in French from the School for Interpreters and Translators in Milan and has since taught at both Italian and American universities. She is also conversant in Spanish and is on her own learning journey with Japanese. Alessandra loves the sense of wonder she feels when she experiences other cultures, their traditions, food, and art, and how words reflect the peculiarities of each culture. She loves being in class with her students to convey that same sense of surprise and discovery and share impressions of the places she's visited.

Mónica is a native of Albuquerque, NM. She has lived in Boise for the past 10 years with her two sons enjoying all that Idaho has to offer! She grew up bilingual as her maternal family are Mexican-American and Spanish was spoken at home. She has a passion for sharing her love of Spanish and the many cultures that encompass the Spanish language. She joined Suntree Language Academy for the opportunity to broaden the horizons of her students through sharing her love of language and culture. She has traveled to many countries and looks forward to more travels in the future.
